The Brief

A new character for Sloan’s Lake.

2343 Julian sits in the heart of Denver’s Sloan’s Lake neighborhood, a walkable block close to the lake, its park, and the shops and restaurants around 32nd and Lowell.

The architecture is by Brown Collective Architecture and Design. The home is a duplex with an approachable, warm transitional exterior. It’s a nod to classic farmhouse style, finished in board and batten siding, large format stone, and a warm earth-toned palette. The two units share a common walkway with a privacy division between the entry patios. Each side has its own arrival, while the building reads as one home on the street.

Inside, the same warmth carries through. Materials, palette, and finishes all match the farmhouse direction. It’s a home built to feel lived in, not staged.
